depends how much cash you have...but i recommend the Caesar Augustus Hotel in Anacapri,Capri Island...Its 1000 feet up built into a cliff face...old...views are breathtaking...the hotel and staff are friendly, charming, personal and amazingly attentive...this has to be the best place i have ever stayed...ever...and dont be put off by what you hear...Capri is way cheaper than Rome and twice as beautiful...either that or Venice...amazing place...enjoy yourselves wherever you go...;0)

Paris is romantic, it's a beautiful city but perhaps a bit cliched! Check out what good deals there are to European cities from your local airport. It depends what you're after, whether you're more interested in culture or nightlife or if you want a bit of hot weather. Prague is lovely, great buildings and stuff to see during the day, also a good nightlife and cheap. Somewhere in Eastern Europe like Budapest, Bratislava or Krakow is going to be cheap and you get to experience a different culture, fun markets, etc. Check out the Cloth Hall if you go to Krakow. Somewhere like Milan or Madrid would be great for shopping and sightseeing. Rome has loads of stuff to see, but can be quite busy and pricey. Venice is very romantic, go for a gondola ride and wander round together. It all depends what you want. I would go somewhere neither of you has been before so you can experience it together. Probably a city break for a long weekend. Eastern Europe if you're after culture, markets and value, Paris or Venice v romantic, check out weather forecasts for the dates and you may always just want to check into a plush hotel in England and have some quality time with each other. Or maybe Ireland, close to home but a bit different and very friendly people. Dublin is quite pricey, try somewhere like Cork.

ive just came back from Prague, stayed their over the new year for the first time, and what a hell of a place.
its a beautiful city, full of amazing buildings, churches, bridges, castles and stuff for the site see'er.
and for the night time their are any amounts of the best resturants, bars, out-door markets in Europe. Make sure you take some warm clothes though because it can get real cold and it snow often in the winter, but not messy horrible slushy snow like the stuff we get here, just seems to stay nicely on the ground.
also every thing is MEGA MEGA cheap, like flights, hotels, meals in 4-5star restaurants, booze, everything is just really cheap.
another cool thing is that they dont really have busses like in the UK but them old style trams that take you every were which is pretty cool.
so for me it was a 5* holiday, loved it.

Prague is one of the cities worth-visit and to do that you can start preparing your vacation with hotelbye . Beginning with the charming area round the Prague Castle or the Strahov monastery with its outstanding selection and finish with …the complete splendid city, Prague is just incredible. In Prague you can even visit the small house wherever Franz Kafka labored or the attractive Prague Castle gardens from where you could like a special view of the city with its picturesque red roofs. In this town you will never get bored. If you should go throughout the spring you may find the spring woods in blossom; in the summertime you will dsicover extended dusks; fall will give you vibrant leaves and specific light and in the winter you will like the entire town protected with simple white snow.

Amsterdam. Its great.
I've been on a girls weekend, and on a romantic weekend away with my boyfriend - and theres something for anyone. Flights are really cheap with easyjet. Hotel Victoria is really nice and not too expensive - but any around Central Station make it easy to get anywhere.

Don't go and become obligated to him, all he wants is a**l sex and he'll pressure you into this saying that he spent so much money for your to go away and then he'll pull out the KY and you'll be in a world of pain. He thinks by taking you away from your confort zone and destroying the environment with a cheap flight he can pressurise you to acquiece to his filthy demands. I would say he is really underhand and should not touch him with a barge pole, leave the sleaze bag and have a quiet weekend of contemplative prayer.

Edinburgh, why travel far, it is beautiful, old and new, very romantic and full of history, you can get a room in the castle, have coffee in the cafe overlooking the city, stay British, enjoy what we have. Plus, the language barrier is slightly less!
