It is possible. It would depend on how far in the past, how many times you had previously dyed it, and your natural hair texture. Dying hair multiple times in a short period is bound to be damaging to any hair type, but certain types will show the damage more than others. People with thicker, coarse, and sometimes oilier hair can often withstand multiple dye-jobs without being seriously damaged. (i.e. the hair breaks off or yes, falls out) If the hair is thinner, drier, and even previously damaged, then there is always the chance that the hair will indeed break off or fall out. No matter what your hair texture happens to be though I would wait at least 3-4 weeks before attempting to dye the hair again, especially if the dying process involved stripping or bleaching, and moisturize the hell out of the hair in that time.

Yes. I have dyed my hair probably a little too much. If I don't like the way it turned out, sometimes I'll do it again the next day. Anyway, yeah...not good. It really damages your hair. Semi-permanent is much less damaging, and safer if you dye your hair a lot. Get a hair product to strengthen your hair.

I don't think so it could make your hair break though. I have used hair dyes for many years and my hair hasn't fallen out yet. Everyone says its going to fall out though but it doesn't. I think its just a myth.

yes dying the hair too often and using harsh chemicals will
cause hair to break. get overly dry and eventually fall out/ your hair looses a lot of the natural oils when dying too often
your scalp gets overly dry also.
if you dye often use the best dye you can and read the label.

yes it can. especialy if you keep lighting. that strips your hair. once you color or hilite, NEVER go over your ends. and if you go darker always use a demi permant, or 10val peroxide.
