There will be water/food stops here and there, but should I still take my own water? Any other suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!

I would take your own water just in case for before or after the race, take some GU or power gel or something like that. I would also take something for blisters just in case Band aid has a product called activ flex, it is like s second skin but with cushion it come in about 3 sizes. Of course something to wear after the race and one thing I never leave home without is a product called Body Glide. it comes in a container and looks lie deodorant but prevents chaffing. you put it anywhere you might chafe, legs and anywhere clothing might rub including all parts of the sports bra where the elastic is.It works. you can get it at a lot of running store and expos. My only other word of advise is don't do anything new on race day. try products, sports gel, energy bars etc on your training runs to know how your body will react , some of those things can cause you problems if your system is not use to it, and don't wear new running gear. break them in first so you don't end up with something rubbing your skin raw or not working well for you on race day. make a check list of stuff you want and need as you think of things and check it off as you put them in your bag. I prefer running with music on the longs runs, makes time go faster unless you are running with someone and can talk.

1 - If the water stations are more than one mile apart you should bring your own bottle to refill and have with you.
2 - You will not be eating a lot, so the food they'll have will be sufficient. Bringing your own food will just weigh you down more.
3 - Wear a pair of pants over your shorts and leave the pants at the starting line, this will allow you to be warm and ready for the run.
4 - Have comfortable shoes that you have run at least several miles in.
5 - Do not eat or drink anything that you haven't tested on your body before the race or else you might get craps or other pains.

Take a water bottle belt and GU with you. Where a hat as well because trails and september can be unpredictable warm/weather times.
Train hard, train smart.

I think you're fine with the stops they have. Some runners don't trust the quality of water available at those stops and carry their own.
