The other day some guy told me that evolution is a false because it doesn't have god in it.
so lets see , from what i can tell god isn't in coulombs law so apperently electricity is a myth to fundies. oh i don't remember seeing god mentioned in newtons 1st law of motion so apperently fundies can run into a wall and not get hurt.
and since heliocentrism isn't supported in the bible but geocentrism is(Gen. 1:9-18,Ps. 93:1 & 1 Chron. 16:30) apperantly the sun revolves around the earth and with that newtons law of gravity (F = G Ma Mb / r2) wich also doesn't mention god in it must be thrown out by fundies.

Creationists don’t have an argument against evolution at all. They can offer no cogent reason why a literal, or even a loosely based interpretation of the Genesis allegory, is any more veridical than evolution. Sure, they can find holes in the theory, but that by default does not disprove evolution, and they can surely not posit their “theory” as the proper one on the basis of any supposed deficiency in evolutionary theory. All theories have exceptions or unexplainable facets to them. The law of gravity, for example, breaks down at the subatomic level, but no one uses that as evidence of its falsehood.

The common tactic of ‘Creationists” or their undeservingly more respected colleagues, the intelligent design theorists, is that some gap in evolution is found, such as something that is supposedly irreducibly complex, and then because evolution, at the time doesn’t have a sufficient explanation, immediately God is asserted as the answer. Usually this has caused much embarrassment for the Creationists, because further research or some new discovery does fill in the gap in such a way that it does conform to evolutionary theory.

God, unfortunately, though giving solace to many millions, has no explanatory value for why or how we are here. To say God created the universe only lends itself to the even more confusing question of who created God. As David Brooks, the author of the book “The Necessity of Atheism” once said: “To explain the unknown by the known is logic procedure, to explain the known by the UNKNOWN is a form of theological lunacy.” If the universe is complex and complexity requires an explanation, than God being the very incarnation of ultimate complexity requires an even more grandiose explanation than the universe itself. Hence Creationism, which defines God as a creator confounds us when trying to answer the question of why we exist, because God, the greatest mystery of all time, is used as an explanation for everything.

If evolution is one day categorically disproved (highly unlikely), Creationists have no cause to celebrate. For even a failed scientific theory, has more validity than a concocted fable. Put simply, the answer that “God did it”, might be comforting, and may imbue certain people with some sense of purpose, but it is not an answer to the nagging question that has always been with us.

Don't forget that bit in the bible about the mustard seed being the smallest seed, there must be some plants that the fundies don't believe in too.

Here in Kansas, I have talked with people who believe in geocentrism and creationism.

Please send help!

Evolution is the unbeliever's attempt to devise an alternate explanation of existence apart from the God who is, that he may somehow justify himself. Newton's Law presupposes the God of Scripture for without God you couldn't prove anything.

i wager i doesn't say my argument that follows is the suitable argument, in spite of the undeniable fact that it truly is the suitable i have ever got here upon (besides the obtrusive "The Bible stated it happened in a 6 day creation."). instead, this argument tries to apply a set of logical if-then statements. even as this argument doesn't extremely be useful adverse to atheists, it really is useful adverse to previous earth-creation (The question isn't to argue adverse to atheism besides). If evolution (as defined below) delivered about the life-varieties we've at present, then there could were lack of life in the previous Adam and Eve. If there become lack of life in the previous Adam and Eve, then their sin (nor any of humanities' sins) would have brought about lack of life, because it existed previous to sin. If lack of life isn't brought about by way of sin, then Jesus Christ's sacrifice won't be able to eliminate lack of life. If Christ did not come to eliminate lack of life, then Christianity falls aside, because there might want to be no eternal life. Evolution-the replacing of life-varieties by way of the years. Macroevolution (as used above)-the replacing of life-varieties over thousands and thousands of years. in this version, all life on the earth descends from a unmarried ancestor. it truly is the concept supported by way of textbooks. Microevolution-the replacing of life-varieties over a short era of time. in this version, the ameliorations of life-varieties does no longer carry any species into belonging to a species of a diverse style, yet in consumer-friendly words diverse transformations of an identical style. it truly is the info utilized in textbooks, which does in a roundabout way help macroevolution. i'm a Christian youthful earth Creationist-6,000 years (supply or take some hundred).

Let's talk. DNA has been around since the beginning of time in every form of life on earth.

That DNA has been different for each tree, each plant, each fish, each fowl, each animal, and each human since the beginning of time.

Evolutionists - do you agree ?

What I as a Christian have to say is this -the whole idea of
a " cosmic accident" causing this IS PURE NONSENSE.

ONLY GOD - THE DIVINE CREATOR COULD HAVE PLANNED SO WELL.

Well, the guy you argued with was using poor reasoning for his argument. I would suggest a book called "The Evolution Cruncher" by Vance Ferrell. It contains a wealth of scientific information that you'll never learn at a liberal college.

I wouldn't be surprised if they though like that. If you opened a big church in the bible belt you could make people believe that. Say no to jesus.

"evolution is a false because it doesn't have god in it"
Replace "god" with ANY other word.

"evolution is a false because it doesn't have a bathtub in it"
This guy has the reasoning capability of a brick.
