Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, gosh there are so many islands... Bermuda, Dominica, Antigua, Barbuda Dominican Republic, Saint Kits, Nevis, Trinidad, Tobago, Martinique, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands.
If you are an American, you cannot go to Cuba, it would be illegal.
Jamaica is good if you stay on the resorts. Barbados is good if you don't mind flat. I'd give Haiti a miss if I were you,
Montserrat, the volcano is erupting so you might want to give that a miss.
Just about everywhere is good.

Try the island of St Lucia. It is the greenest of the Caribbean islands. There are some good family resorts, especially in the Rodney Bay area. You can laze on the beach, or you can take the kids into the rainforest and do some animal watching. And there are direct flights there with Virgin.
I thoroughly reccommend it.

Go to St. Kitts. Marriott has a resort there that caters to the entire family. Activities for kids, all kinds of water adventures and gambling for the parents. Take a taxi into town and shop till you drop. People of St. Kitts are above and beyond anything you've ever seen. I highly recommend it and am going back myself in January 2008.

Curacao is a nice and different one.
Plenty of hotels to choose from, plenty of beaches, and each a different beach as well, swim with dolphins, meet sea lions, feed ostriches, take a walk in the park, explore caves with indian paintings, go shopping in the historic downtown, or just relaaax all day at one of the many beaches.

Definitely Barbados...the people are very warm and friendly. The island is small and charming, good infrastructure...crime rate is not bad either.

Jamaica is wonderful... don't go to Trinidad & Tobago, not as great as everyone seems to think! Very dangerous.
