you shouldn't leave the country so close to citizen ship . They can deney you ! After you get the citizen ship you will need to surender the Green card ! Passports take 6 weeks to get one ! You need to speak to you r Immigrant Attorney ! You will need special papers to travel with ! You will need to postpone your trip ! The citizenship certificate is what you need to get your passport ! You will get your Citizenship certificate after you are sworn in as Citizen !And you can not duplicate it ! Be keeping it in a safe place !

Good Luck

If you get the expidited Passport , a matter of few days to get one ....this wil be very expensive ,, a couple of hundred dollars

Where are you brains. Is your interview in the US? Well you definitely need to move your departure date. That is for sure. You leave on 21st and interview on the 25. Somethings wrong. You will need a US passport, that is for sure if you leave the US to another foreign country. Talk to the passport office.

You should move your departure date and proceed to your interview. Pass or fail, you still can apply for a reentry permit before you travel to the Philippines.

You need a passport to travel outside of the country. Many times the airline won't even let you board without one.

Then.. if you do make it on the plane and arrive in the foreign country.. you will be detained and forced to contact your embassy.

Fortunately you can get a passport in a matter of a few days. You will need to go down to the immigration office in a major city nearest you. There you cam get am expedited passport (its very expensive to expedite).

There is no citizen certificate in the US. I don't know where you got the idea that there was. You will need your passport.
