Considering the consequences of doing so, according to Christians, it would lead one to believe that you have some extremely compelling reasons for not fearing them.
I hope some of those Christians will understand that a non-belief in their god is not something that any of us take lightly. We studied and questioned the nature of religion relentlessly. To dismiss something without doing so, especially when the stakes are as high as you claim, would be foolish.
Therefore, understand that we know what we're talking about, when it comes to religion. The opposite appears to be true for believers.

The purpose of the Christian is to defend the name of God as much as we can. We need to pray “hallowed be thy name” because we’re not very good at it.
Understand this, the Lord’s Prayer somewhat mirrors the Ten commandments. The third one commands, “thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain” (Exodus 20:7). Now using God’s name in profanity is only one small part of breaking this commandment. But taking God’s name is like a wife taking her husband’s last name. When you’re a baptized Christian, you take the name of Christ, but if you live like the devil after you’ve taken Christ’s name, you’re taking His name in vain.
Christians should be advertising the goodness of God. Instead, we see professed Christians attacking and killing others, such as in Ireland, Africa and Croatia. “Love your enemies...overcome evil with good” (Matthew 5:44; Romans 12:21). So, “Hallowed be thy name” is asking God to help us in word and deed, honor His precious name.

The only foolish thing about you is the fact that you reported me for abuse and deleted my answer on one of your questions when I was being satirical.

By Dobbs, you need to switch religions to one that condones blasphemers, and welcomes them!

In order to blaspheme, you have to know what you're blaspheming against. And I have a hard time believing you have enough knowledge that warrants your guilt.

Once you've done it one time you're going to hell, so doing it repeatedly doesn't make any difference.
