I'm international student studying in the UK. I had lots of cats back at home. thus I've recently decided to rise a ketten but I want to know several things such as the cost of vaccinations and so on. in addition, I'd like being provided with any useful advice regarding all responsibilities that I might encounter with.

My cats vaccination was i believe 90 dollars, its not cheap for vaccination, but its permanent. Ill add up the total cost around for you to keep a kitten/cat on a monthly basis.

You will need to get a kitten spayed/neutered if you don't want it spraying stuff worse then pee around the house, my female kitten is just now going through this.

Average food cost per month will be around $13 dollars. or 156 a year.

You will get a cat litter box obviously, runs around 6 to 200 dollars, depends if you want to scoop or not lol. Litter is 12 dollars a month, 144 a month

Cat treats are almost a necessity, 2-3 bucks a month or 30 a year.

Toys are replaceable and stuff, if you want your cat happy , buy em some really small mice, they love them, or buy a laser pointer, best 10 bucks you will invest toy wise, watchout for kitties eyes though

Vaccines are about 80$ yearly.

vetinary exams run to about $60 to 100 dollars.

Declawing is a very big issue, its somwhat exspensive and cruel. I suggest you spend 10 dollars rather than 90-140 on declawing, and trim your cats claws monthly, this will save money, and will save your cats soul;literatly. Or get softpaws, softpaws.com

Thats about it, it can be pretty exspensive, but i think its worth it. You may experience the cat is scratching furniture, if this is the case whip out a handheld wimpy dimpy squirtgun and give the cat a lil squit in the tummy, this will save furniture and discourage the cat not to scratch, not needing declawing.

As for the first poster, who cares. If you want to be a answer troll and be a total assanine, then leave somwhere else, this is a help website, not a flaming website, and i don't care what you have to say back at me, enjoy your free 2 points.

You will need a series of shots then get the kitten spayed or neutered. The cost for doing this can range enormously depending on whether you take advantage of services like the SPCA (in the states) and whether you use a vet who functions in an upper class neighborhood. For example, in Dallas TX, the costs for one kitten this fall were $50 office visit plus $17 shot charge times 3 for shots and would have been about $200 for spaying. At the SPCA, it was a one time $28 examination fee and $11 for shots with a long wait in line and $45 for spaying with an appointment to drop off and pickup later in the day.
I would expect the situation is comparable in UK

You need to learn english first before making any attempts. Learn how to spell would also be another keypoint.
