I know there's an Islamic and Jewish New Year, but never really thought about a Christian New Year. Also, are there other New Years that other religious groups celebrate?

I forgot about Chinese New Year, and didn't know about the Pagan New Year. Thanks.

January 1st is the first day of the New Year in the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar is named after the Catholic Pope Gregory, and the calendar bases its years from the birth of Jesus Christ, i.e. this year is 2007 years since Jesus' birth.

So yes, it's Christian. But the celebrations are usually secular.

Both, actually, at least for Roman Catholics. In addition to New Year's Day, Catholics celebrate it as the Circumcision of Jesus. It is a Holy Day of Obligation, which mean they are to attend Mass.
