Filing with someone else??

Well I would assume that when you are filing with someone else to make sure you don't get in their way... don't file in the same cabinet with them... make sure you replace your files.. LOL

You have to be married to file jointly, or one of you can claim Head of Household but in so doing, the one that earns the least amount of money has to give up their exemption to the other.

as in taxes? You need to be legally married and livng together at least 6 months out of the year.
