They are getting into amonia or someone is spraying it into their eyes. Amonia will make a dog go blind. Have the owners get them checked out at the vet to see what is going on is what I would do.

Are they allowed out by themselves? Are they kept in the yard or allowed to roam? The first suspect would be that someone is poisoning the dogs (either accidental via some item being left out where passing dogs can reach it or on purpose and possibly delivering the poison to the dogs in their own yard). In either case, the local animal control officer needs to be contacted. You can call as a community member and make them aware of the issue and give them contact info for the dogs owners.
There are blood test that can be done to see if a pioson is present (for some piosons) and the officers can do a search of the yards and common areas of the neighborhood to see if anything looks out of order. They can also track the situation and get involved if new cases appear.
The big thing is, depending on what they got, how much they took, and how long ago-going blind might be a starting point for other health problems.

If their vet can not give a reason why these dogs are suddenly blind, I would contact the local animal control or CDC.
Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration (SARDS) can't be ruled out, but weird for a few dogs locally to all have? There are other diseases/conditions that may cause sudden blindness, but...
Just sounds fishy. Be sure the owners have them vet checked.

It could be coincidence, but it's probably a poison, intentional or accidental. If you have a pet talk to your vet. And don't let your animal roam. If it's a large number of suddenly blind dogs, the dog owners should contact the police.

Sounds like some kind of poison that they've gotten into. If you have a dog or kids around I'd search the area for anything out of the ordinary.

A man made environmental gas agent or a sexual transmitted disease. Have you noticed any odd smells lately? Have these dogs come in contact with each other? You need to review the possibility of enter action or similar events first.

Some one has probably been going around and abusing the dogs. Most likely gang members. I would try and do some sort of dog rescue thing and take them to vets to see if the vet can tell you if he thinks he or she might no the cause.

Check your driveways sounds like a possible anti-freeze poisoning.

sounds like they have gotten into something like some kind of poison or something. There must be some common running grounds between them.
