Exercise, yoga or tai chi, sometimes herbal tea, sometimes self-hypnosis, other times dancing and singing like an American Idol reject. Acting like a spaz is quite relaxing.

I try to find the source of my stress and I imagine removing it from my body with a sword and shield. No joke.
I often find my stress is related to work-related problems. I feel like I'm not accomplishing enough. My boss is on my case too much. So on and so forth. So, I try to relax for a while, eliminate the problems in my head, and figure out what I can do to improve my performance at work. I imagine how proud my boss will be of me when he sees what great work I did on this or that.
It really helps. :)

I like to listen to my favorite music at the loudest volume possible and sing along. Kind of like a punk-rock karaoke.
I also like to take long walk at night or early morning when I am stressed, because there's not as many people or traffic out, and I can think about things and try to sort my problems out.
Another good thing to do is to watch the comedy channel and veg out.

Deep breathing. It sounds stupid but it works so well. Just breathe deeply and steadily for at least 3-4 minutes, it will relax muscles you didn't even know were tensed up. Also, booze always helps once you're done studying.

For me, a beer does the trick or sometimes a glass of wine but usually wine makes me tired so i try to avoid it. Also, any kind of opiate ( legal) such as vicodin and percocet works the best but only in MODERATION. But when used properly, you dont have a care in the world.

A warm bubble bath with candles and a good book - then a good night of sleep. I wake up feeling more positive and able to face the challenges ahead.

Walking my dog down 16th Avenue and then through the park and letting her smell whatever she wants to along the way for as long as she wants to.
Being on HER schedule instead of mine helps bring me back to Earth.
Sometimes, I also stash a few beers in my pockets to drink while we walk.
