Look for stuff written by Ken Bradbury. He's written all kinds of pieces for duets and groups.

Today, for some reason, I was thinking of one (can't remember the title) that had 2 girls eating at a buffet....one's a pig who'll eat anything that's unhealthy and the other is a health nut. A couple lines I remember kinda go like this:

"And it's saturated fat at that!"
"What?"
"Saturated fat is the worst kind. That's got enough to kill six horses!"
"Neigh."

ha ha ha... I really shouldn't be laughing....I eat all that junk and I have 2 horses! lol

"Popcorn! With extra butter!"
"UGH!"
"And milk duds!"

te he.

My friend and I are doing a duet from Guys and Dolls "Marry the Man Today" It is about a woman, Adaline, and her friend, Sarah. Adaline is basically saying they need to find any guy, and after you get them in than you can change them to what you want. A few of my favorite lines are "At wannamakers, saks, and kliens, a lesson i've been taught, you can't get altarations, on a dress you haven't bought." "You can't squeeze a melon till, till you get the melon home" We are having a lot of fun putting it together for our Vocal Workshop class. It is very easy to learn. We just started rehersing this week and we are putting it in front of the class tomorrow.

If you go to a play publisher's website, usually they offer duets at low prices. That's the best source for them, unless you know a playwright who's willing to give you one.

Outrageous Fortune with Bette Middler and Shelly long, very funny movie. or Death Becomes Her with Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn, again, a very funny movie where the actresses work really well together.

I would go with BAPZ or Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, both have funny scenes.
