don't know what your asking????? but you can go on the http://www.freeview.co.uk/home web site and find out the signal strength in your area. you could also try an indoor digital ariel which work well with freeview. Argos give a 16 day moneyback guarantee so if it didn't help you haven't lost anything.

http://www.freeview.co.uk/availability if you type your postcode in will tell you if you are in a Freeview reception area. Depends what the wall socket is attached to. If it's a group antenna on the roof with a distribution box then maybe/maybe not. Some areas have cable connections for analogue tv coming in through a wall socket (Harlow,Essex for example) which won't allow you to get Freeview.

Can't quite understand what you are saying, but I gather your wall socket is too old for Freeview? I suggest you get it checked out.

You say you living in an apartment. You may be connected to communal Ariel system and the signal may not be strong enough.Get your Ariel checked. Is the analog signal good ?If not this is probably a good indication you haven't got enough signal for digital.
