Christians try to prove why they're right....
Athiests tell them they're wrong...

Christians give hell threats...
Athiests move farther from God...
Back to start.

Fellow christians... stop proving. Stop threatening. Stop getting offended. what were YOU like when YOU were unsaved?

Just do what Jesus did. Love God. Recieve God's love. Give it to people. Pray. Let God convict.

Who are we to judge what we used to be?

By the way, if you are a christian and are being offended by this you need to take a look at yourself... and the word.

Are you living like a Christian?

What do you do when no one is watching?

Don't preach about integrity and holiness until you've done your best to attain it. It's an everday job, not an every sunday one.

How about not trying to pass laws and legislation that promote your Christian agenda and leave us non-believers alone!

I agree with you. I believe the motivation behind the cycle is a number of things but it is mostly about simply trying to prove Christianity is the right way. Perhaps they "doth protest too much"... in that they are also trying to convince themselves they are right. When I became a Christian, I was always being told what to believe rather than actually believing it myself... and I think most Christian converts are that way. So I guess it made it more real to me if I got someone else to believe it too... I'm no longer bound in that cycle, though, and I'm free and loving it!

the cycle, in my opionion, for you will always begin and end with you. Work on your judgements, your blame, your seperation.

owning your own behaviour, and as you suggest, especially when no one is looking creates good behaviour.

People are our mirrors and the lessons are displayed until we learn them.

Remember when we do such a great job of being good christians, or good people, or good citizens, we become prideful and create the perfect home for judging and arrogance.

Holiness is not something you attain. Holiness is giving everything to God.
