been there done that this past summer! either overcome the obstacle (mutually) about being together publicly or call it off before you get in further and the hurt gets worse. i couldn't be seen publicly with her becuz of race difference. her family doesn't like white boys being with their indian daughters...

Go for it. How could you not be together. If it is love you will find a way. What is more important than that. What else could make you TRULY that happy?
