"Life is too short!", "It passes in the blink of an eye!" Can you please tell that to a slave who had to til' for his noble master or a poor person or impoverished person?

I could not agree with you more. Life is too short is a term used loosely by the rich.

People say that because it is true, life does seem too short in the vast scheme of things. And remember you only live once so that's about 100 years tops.

that was tortured night and day for 14 years under both Nazi and communist rule in Romania for being Jew and a Christian. He loved life,people and God. He even prayed for his tortuers.
