Well to start you need to start her puppy shots at 8 weeks and then she needs to get 2 more boosters each a month apart and her Rabies will be given on the final booster. If you are not going to breed her you need to get her spayed at 6 months old. This will reduce her chance of getting mammary cancer later on and also she cant have unwanted litters this way. Other than basic yearly vet visits just feed her normal dog food (or whatever your vet recommends) and love on her. Try to keep human food given to her at a minimum or better yet none at all. Also you need to check her for intestinal worms and when she is old enough she needs to start heartworm prevention. You need to keep her on heartworm meds year round as well as flea medicines. If you have any other questions feel free to email me and I can give you more information. Good luck

To keep your dog fit don't give her human food. Heck we shouldn't even eat most human foods! Since she is just a pup you have the perfect opportunity to make this a rule in your house. "Dogs eat dog food"... Your vet or even a Chihuahua club would be the best place to go for the proper information.
