parents know whats best, they have a birds eye view- they see the whole picture when we don't. they are seeing whats ahead and look out for ur best- ur at the age where they still have to watch u cause if anything bad happens it will always be on them like they did a bad job.
they love u and are just doing withat they think is best.
in time they will loosen and let you learn and grow more- but for now your still a young seed that needs attending to.

Appreciate that your parents love you very much and want to protect you. It could be that they sense something in your relationship with your boyfriend that is not quite right. You have lots of time to fall in love with a guy they will feel better about, and you will. -- Just think, If I had gotten my way when I was sixteen my life would not be has comfortable as it is now.

Is there something about your b/f they do not like? Is he a "bad boy" or a "nice guy". Have a heart to heart with them to find out if you do not know. They are prolly concerned about you and your judgement at a young age and are only trying to protect you. Maybe if you communicate with each other you can reach a middle ground of understanding.

Your parent don't want you to "going out" with anyone at your age because they're smart. They know what your going to do and they don't want your life to be any harder then it has to be (unwanted pregnancy, STD's, abuse etc.) wait a while your parents will lighten up when they feel it is time for you to start seeing boys. Until then, focus on your studies, sports, friends and a host of other things.

Your Parents know what is best for you, they don't want you to go out at night just in case your boyfriend decides to make you pregnant, I think it would be best for you not to get too serious with him, I think you should remain just as good friends.

Maybe they had bad experiences when they were younger and don't want the same thing to happen to you. Maybe they know kids your age have sex and they don't want you to get pregnant. Maybe your mother had an abortion when she was younger. Maybe your father pressured some girl into going too far when they were in high school.

Because they love you and care about your well being. They are concerned that you may be getting into something over your head or get into a situation that you are not ready for.

Because you are a kid (you can argue but you truely are) and they worry about the bad state most teenagers get into with having relationships with the opposite sex.
