I see many people saying things like "if God is real and he'll send you to hell for not believing in him..." or "why would God send someone to hell for not believing in him".

Here is your answer.
God made you, he is alot smarter than you, and he loves you. He gave us rules to live by, for our own good; every one of his laws was to protect us and to help us, and if you live by his word he will bless you. He even died before many of us were born, so that we could be reconciled with him. But we have continuously defied him. If after all he has blessed you with (life, love, and all you have), you would still reject him and live for your own selfish desires, why should you get to spend eternity in paradise with him? Why would you want to? Theres only one place left to go...what, is he suppose to let you just sin all your life and then be rewarded with nonexistance or another place "just for sinners, but not hell"?

God gave you a choice to make it right on earth, why should he give you another at judgement day. It is all about faith

"God made you, he is alot smarter than you, and he loves you"
If God sends you to hell, how can you make the claim that he loves you?

"He even died before many of us were born"
How can God die? How can an omnipotent being die?

"what, is he suppose to let you just sin all your life and then be rewarded with nonexistance or another place "just for sinners, but not hell"?"
Why wouldn't this be the case?

I assume you believe you will be going to 'heaven' will you?? That's a good enough reason not to want to go there. It's not the idea of God I have an issue with, although I believe he doesn't exist. I just think spending 'eternity' in 'heaven' with all the demented, frothing at the mouth believers is a hell in itself.

Therefore I have to sin, sacrifice small animals up to Satan and dance around the garden naked, howling at the moon in order to protect my eternal happiness by NOT ending up in 'heaven'.

That's when we go back to the word choice, we all have the ability to choose and He invited us to spend eternity with Him, so I ask again, what will you do with God's invitation? Trust me, he won't lose no sleep if you don't respond to Him the way you do to Satan, He will just be sad and take the sheep that were willing to follow His voice.

"would still reject him and live for your own selfish desires"

Why do you assume that I live completely for myself just because I don't live for him?

You probably don't realize this, but you turn more people AWAY from your religion when you talk like this. The idea of a God that sends his own creations to eternal suffering -- ETERNAL suffering -- no matter WHAT the reason -- is absurd and unbelievable.

God does not choose to send people to hell, people choose to go there. God wants us all to be with Him, but not if we are going to spend our lives mocking Him and denying He exists. Would you invite someone to a party of yours if that person spent all of their time telling anybody who would listen what a fool you are, what a fake you are, how you have your head up your ...... all of the time? If so, when do you want me to show up?

You're wrong. It's not my fault and here is why:

1. God is all-knowing. This means He knows everything about the past, present, and future. He also knows the consequence of every action He could take - that is, if He acts in a certain way, He knows exactly what will happen as a result.

2. God is the creator of everything. He created all of everything that exists. There is nothing that He did not create. (a) He created me, and (b) He created everything else in the world.

3. I have free will - I can make decisions. When I make a decision, the only things I could possibly make my decision based on is myself (my brain, my soul, etc.) and the rest of the world.

4 [1+2(a)]: God created me knowing exactly how I would act. He created me just the way I am, and He knew exactly what would happen in my life if He created me this way.

5 [1+2(b)]: God created the world knowing exactly how it would be at every moment from the time of creation until the end of time.

6 [3+4+5]: God created everything I base my decision on. The only things I can base a decision on are myself and everything else in the world, and He created all of those things. When He created me and He created the world, he knew exactly what the state of both of those things would be at the time I made my decision.

7: God created my decision. He created me, and when He created me, He knew exactly how I would react to any situation and He knew how I would make every decision in my life. Yet, He created me this way anyway.

8: God created my decision to be an unrepentant sinner. Because God is all-knowing, He knew that if He made me in this particular way I would end up being an unrepentant sinner. Yet, He made me this way anyway.

9. Therefore God, who actually created my decisions, is at fault for them and I am not.

Let me guess - your response is "but He gave us free will!" But what is free will? You can scour the deepest depths of your soul to make a "free" decision, and in many situations no one will compel you to act any way other than the wat you do. But what is "you"? What is the thing that is making the decisions? A person who was created by God specifically and knowingly. Do you agree that God knows everything about the future? And do you agree that God created you down to the last detail? Then God created every decision you will make in your life. Because He created you!

Wrong. Any god who tells you that you have 'free will' but threatens to punish you if you excersize that free will in a way he doesnt like is no god that I would have any reason to believe in. Living under threat and fear of punishment is not free will, it is extortion. Forget it.

I see many thumbs down for you if you keep speaking truth. I just pray its done in love, as 1 Cor 13 says, or this is all for nothing.

Bless you

Sending someone to a place of torment for eternity simply because they exercised some healthy skepticism is disproportionate, and is certainly not in character for a loving, merciful being.
