Oyster Dressing for Turkey

From Sherry Phipps
Nov. 19, 2003 12:00 AM

3 or 4 onions, finely chopped
2 eggs
1 tablespoon dried parsley
4 celery stalks, chopped
1 jar (10 ounces) oysters, drained and chopped
2 loaves (about 24 ounces each) white bread, toasted and quartered
Salt and pepper to taste
2 to 3 tablespoons poultry seasoning
1/2 cup tomato juice (or as needed)

In a large bowl, combine onions, eggs, parsley, celery, oysters and bread. Put through a meat grinder or process in food processor until blended; pour back into bowl. Add salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and enough tomato juice to make it fairly wet. Use your hands to mix well.

Stuff the turkey with the dressing, and put any extra in a pan to be cooked later. (To cook extra stuffing, bake uncovered at 350 degrees until heated through. Baking time will vary depending on how much stuffing you're baking, but figure about 30 minutes for an 8- by 8-inch pan.) advertisement

Makes 10 servings.

i am not sure which "dressing" that you are talking about, but, in some practices, a wet oyster dresing involves the fluids from another women and used on raw oysters with a green( mostly spinach) marinatedin her fluids and placed on raw oysters as a most potent aphrodesia.
