To me, it's like calling emo or goth a religion. Pretty desperate trend.

Don't give them any attention. They're only a bunch of emotionally immature, and educationally ignorant, group of people looking for attention any way they can.

Devil worshiper = Someone who sacrifices babies and animals to a God they call "satan." They want power and favors from him.
Satanist = An Atheist who respects life and does not believe in God/Satan.
