Being that it's your own room pick your favorite color and if it happens to be a bright one tone it down, make it soft. You'll be more comfy in a room with a color you like. Soften it because bright colors are not relaxing...hope this helps you

I like pink personally, so I would paint your room pink.
What's your favorite color? You should paint it a color that you like, but isn't too bright as to distract you or keep you from sleeping. Lighter shades of colors work best. :)

light blue with a tint of grey. This will neutralize it make it easy to match with other colours. We have light blue in our condo and it is very calming.

not yellow. but you should try nice soft colors like cream,or baby pink or light blue. or just white. there's nothing wrong with having white walls. but no yellow, please!!

how about a deep mauve or purple color! It would look great with gold highlights, like a comfortor, drapes, etc.
