Girlfriend! I haven't slept in the same bed with my husband for awhile now because of his snoring. I'm usually in the bed long enough for him to fall asleep & then I head to the other end of the house!!!! My kids sleep through anything so the snoring is only waking me up! I can sympathize with you all of the way!!!!

I had an ex-boyfriend that snored SO BAD that I could not sleep in the same room with him if I wanted to get some rest. I tried the ear plugs and he tried the sprays (meds to spray in the throat before going to bed) and nothing worked. I could hear him snore even when not sleeping in the same room but at least it wasn't as loud and I was able to rest. I didn't have a problem sleeping away from him but he had a huge problem with us not being able to sleep together and because he couldn't adjust to our sleeping arrangements it caused major problems between us.

I'm male thus according to the Whitehouse I can't have a husband but I did see an ad on TV last night for Breathe-Rite nose strips and they also make a liquid to reduce snoring. Hope that helps, now get some sleep before he gets home!

My dad used to snore badly. He took a sleep test at our hospital and found out that he needed to use a machine at night. This has helped my dad tremendously. He doesn't snore now as long as he uses the machine. If I were you I would check into it, ask your doctor if they have anything like it. This machine pretty muchs blows moist air into my dads nose and mouth. I hope this helps.

I sleep next to a heavy snorer. Good ear plugs are the key. Go to: www.earplugsonline.com. These plugs saved my marriage. I've tried them all; these are the best hands down.

over time sleeping in separate rooms will only doom your marriage. it's the beginning of something you don't want. have him take a sleeping test in order to diagnose his condition. his condition is especially serious if he experiences shortness of breath while sleeping or wakes up suddenly gasping for air.... hopefully it's nothing serious and can be treated efficiently and effectively.

Have you tried those nasal strips? or sewing a golf ball to the back of his jammie tops or seeking professional help. If he won't seek professional help at first, he may reconsider when he wakes up and your holding his nose closed (one of my friends does this to her husband, she says he turns over and she goes back to sleep...)
