If you are following God and he is not then what is the problem. Pray and ask God to send you a companion. I understand that you love him but sometimes the people we love are our downfall. And if you just feel like you cant live without him see if you can pull him in the direction you are going. See if you can pull him closer to God. People can change you know. I say try that first and if that doesnt work then its time for you to move on. There is always something better

You should probably leave him alone for a while so you can get your mind right. It is always hard to be friends when you straight break it off with someone. Usually it works better when two people grow apart, when you end a relationship on not so good terms it is best to give it a rest. Much love.

If he is willing to take you back, then you should try to understand his point of view and not let religious intolerance blind you to his good qualities. Many intelligent people do not see a need to submit to irrational beliefs and traditions just to conform to social expectations. Your ex is an independent thinker and will probably go far in this world. You had better get him back before someone better than you snags him.

Space
You need to take some space and figure out what you want.
If you want another go and try again then talk to him.
Maybe get some couples counseling.
But remember you can't make someone believe the way you do and if you try to make him he will just end up hating and resenting you.

Obviously, it's not ment for you and to be together. You two might not know each other well enough to be in an relationship, and if that's not it then you was not ment to be with him. Coming from a cyber-friend try the friend thing and then see where that takes you.

I follow God as well and had a bf who did not. it's not the same, its importaint to have someone who sees eye to eye and helps you grow spiritualy.
it was very hard to let go of my bf- i did just as u did but i told him not to call me and to not try to contact me in any way
this was cause i knew that was the only way to get over it- it took a while but i am blessed and happy now with my husband who helps me and strengthens me and we both share the same passion.
you know what God would have you do.
it may be best to break ties to make easier for BOTH of you.
i wish u luck.

Your ex is real. God is not.
Get back with you boyfriend and try to act according to your conscience and not according to a fictional god

Quit trying to be friends. Get away from him, and meet new people that actually support you.
