If she's not spayed then I bet she's in heat. She will be back when she gets good and hungry. Get her spayed and she won't wonder off.

I think you should can your local animal shelter to see if anyone has turned a cat in that looks like yours. Otherwise you could call the police station and see if they have had any reports of a cat found. You are doing the right thing by putting up flyers. Also look at your local vet and see if she is there. Some people turn animals into the local vet or you could go to any petstores by you because some petstores take in stray pets. Just keep trying. If you can't find her you could always get another cat or kitten. I know it is sad but you might have to get something just to get her off your mind if you can not find her. Try as hard as you can and you will probably find her. Best of luck!!!!

When my cats have gone missing. I always put up signs in the local stores and put flyer's in neighbors mailboxes. I also call the local police department to see if anyone has reported a lost cat that they have found or if they have a report of a cat getting hit by a car. The police always take my information and a description of my cat in case they hear anything. Also, check the local animal shelters. If your cat comes home consider getting a microchip put in her ear. Then if she goes missing you can call the company and they can locate her through satellite, it's like lo-jack for pets. I have 2 pets with it. Good luck finding your cat.

Call local shelthers and pet stores. Some pet stores allow people to bring in lost animals, or to post flyers. Also, call vet offices. They have community boards where people may post flyers for lost or found animals.

Don't give up just yet. One of out indoor/outdoor cats was gone for almost a month! We knew it was weird since she'd only go outside to use the bathroom. We looked everywhere and asked everyone.

She did come back on her own. Turns out someone was feeding her and decided to take her in. Even though she had a collar with a phone number and address! Someone just took her from us and as soon as she let the cat out again, it went back to its real home.

We found out because someone had seen the lady with our cat. And they'd asked her about it. She answered "stray". There are some weird people out there. I'd never let a cat out in a place that wasn't very rural. Because, as you see, even that can be bad.

Ohhhhh.. I know exactly how you feel. My beloved Kaffe went missing for 10 days one time and I was devastated. I thought he was never going to show up becuase before, when he would disappear, he'd come back within 24 hours. But that time, it was more than a week. I prayed and asked for prayers. I KNOCKED on people's doors with a picture of my cat and asked if they'd seen him. I went out walking the neighborhood at night calling his name. I called the animal shelter. One Sunday, I went to church and asked the elders to pray for Kaffe. They did. When I came back home, I heard this 'meowing outside my bedroom window.... hardly able to hope I rushed to look... sure enough - there was Kaffe crying... he was filthy and his back legs didn't work too good... I nursed him back to health and he is OK and with me now.

Don't give up hope. Knock on people's doors and ask if they had seen such and such a cat (be good if you had a photo). Sometimes getting info on when the cat was last seen and where can give you a clue as to what may have happened. Also, call the animal shelter... every animal shelter in your vicinity. Keep calling your cat - especially at dusk and at night. Someone may have seen her, fed her and taken her indoors against the cold - you never know. Knock on doors. Pray.

I had a cat who had 4 kittens disappear one time. Her and all of her kittens were just gone one day. I looked everywhere shelters, neighboring houses, and anywhere else I could think. 3 months later her and all 4 of her kittens come bounding out of the woods one day. I still don't know where they went but they came back. This isn't the first time it happened but it was definately the longest period of time they were gone. Keep you spirits up your cat will more thatn likely come back home just keep an eye out everywhere you go.

Call a pet psyic if you have a picture. There are good ones out there. I know how you feel. My 10 month old kitten got out and never came back. I got a hold of a pet psyic and she said that he was hit by a car. It gave me clousre. I hope that yours comes back. They normally do, but my cat was a dumb kitty. I'm not kidding. Had my older cat gotten out she would have been back later that day.
Peace be with you.

positioned a schedule on the situation. If, as till now, it clears up in 2 days, then you definitely're golden. If no longer, you would be wanting a vet's tips. in actuality, it does no longer be a undesirable thought to call your vet (or in keeping with threat a pair diverse vets) and describe the indicators. they are in a position to furnish effective suggestion over the telephone--for loose! :) additionally, in case you do finally end up having to take your cat in, the vet or vet tech will normally furnish help to with the 1st dose of the drops, and in all threat have some functional suggestion on how ultimate to manage the medicine. good success!

Be sure to check local shelters; and ASK your neighbors. Many times people let a cat in and don't notice posters. Beyond that, leave food and water outside to tempt her. Call for her whenever you go outside. I have had cats return after WEEKS of being missing.
One more thing. Check all enclosed places (garage, sheds, etc.) where she might have gotten locked in by accident.

Ask some of your neighbors, call the spca to alert them, make a few flyers, etc. Please check the spca because they only hold pets for one week before they go up for adoption. At least if you alert them they have it on file, and any cat matchig her description they will call you to come see. Good luck finding your baby!
