I never see them in the house, only on him, never more than just a few but still they are there....he dosen't spend an aweful lot of time outside...any ideas???

I work in a Vet's office... so maybe I can help

Do you get your Frontline from your vet or from an on-line ordering place? They are not always the same mixture. If you get it from Walmart, or an on-line site stop, and get it from your vet. Also there are other medication such as revolution and advantage, these are topical and work well. Sometimes medication just doesn't work on certain dogs just like in people.

There is a medication called Capstar which is a pill, the only draw back to this is that you have give it nearly every day, but it might be worth it for a few weeks to try to get things under control.

Also as a last ditch idea, you might not be dealing with fleas, it could be mites.

Check with your vet.

Good luck.

If you haven't gone to the vet alrady, I suggest that you do. Make sure that you are actually dealling with fleas and not some other pest like mites or ticks.

A good vet will be able to write you a prescription or recommend a good flea remover.

He is probably bringing them in from going outside. You can get you pest control person to spray for fleas and that will solve that problem.Fleas can live in the dirt and sand,so he may just need a flea collar and that will get them.Don't you just feel so sorry for them when they get fleas.?..poor thing.
