I am going to assume that you, yourself, are not the service member in question, as I believe an E-5 would know how to find this answer.
That being said, the difference in pay depends on various factors, but in general, the E-5 will receive BAH Differential, also known as BAH Diff., to offset any child support payments he may be required to pay. He will typically lose BAH with Dependents since he will no longer have them with him.
In other words, he would receive his Base Pay, BAS if any, BAH Diff, and any other pays he is entitled to, less deductions and allotments, to include child support.
The number of children have no bearing on the difference in pay, by the way. One child dependant is the same a 10 where the amount the service member receives is concerned.
Does that help?

pay is based on rank not number of dependents, it is also based on your mos. e-5 with 2 dependents wife and one child will get the same base pay as an e-5 with 6 dependents you arent paid more because you have a bunch of kids you are paid more because your job is dangerous.or hazardous its for an e-5 base pay is 2200 hundred a month give or take plus your special duty and hazrds pay if you get those check your les on mypay talk to a lawyer about what you are entitled to in regards to divorce the kids are entitled to a percentage but unsure as to what and you are covered til the day the divorce is final

First of all, i assume "The Army" as in the British Army?
If so then the following may help?
Contact your local Army Welfare service, usually on campus. They should be able to provide you with all the information you need. Considering, divorcee with 3 spouse is an welfare issue of concern.
If you cant find one locally, you could contact your unit Welfare officer, every Unit has one.
If you rather speak on a more discreet term, then here is some contact numbers. Hope this helps you out.
Tel: 01722 436569 Fax: 01722 436307 or email: awis@hqland.army.mod.uk

Number of dependents doesn't matter except in matters of BAH.
You can look up the info yourself. Don't expect much from them, as you should know they don't make a ton.

there is no difference in Pay.. You can request BAH differencial, but it isnt extra pay really..You dont get more pay for more dependants with BAH.. You either get BAH with dependants rate or without....
