I would wait until I am off of the medication completely, then I would go to the doctor and get him to write a note explaining that you had just had surgery and that if the drug shows up in your system that it was prescribed. If it is a described drug and you are no longer on it you should be fine.

Morphine WILL show up on any standard drug test. You must tell your prospective employer you are taking the drug [if you still are] but if you are not still taking it, you still need to tell them as it can remain in your system for well over 30 days.

Just show the job the drug the doc put u on and they will overlook that on the test.
It should flush out of system fast, drink some apple juice.

If the company is screening for drugs, I'd be upfront about it from the get-go and tell the interviewer that you were on pain medication after your surgery. I'm sure they'd understand, and simply disregard the negative result on the test.

The same as any other drug u take a bout a month for it to fully be gone. but most of it should be gone by 2 weeks.
