Get Velcro fasteners on shoes, get mules, get buckles, on shoes, all these are available now. You can ask you neighborhood kindergartner he will show you how. What you do is cross the two ends of the shoe lace pull the left one over the right one ,and slip through the middle and tie , now you make two rabbit ears, put the left one over the right one and slip through the center and pull closed . You now have it tied, practice makes perfect. There are many variations on this process, and you can learn more then one way.
