They place the meat in a rectangle baking sheets and cut them. It is fast and easy. They do not waste time or meat or handle it much. It is their trademark.

Wendy's is a fast food restaurant known for their square burgers, frosties and fries. They also have fairly good fast food salads. The burgers are square because they are made fresh rather than from frozen patties like most other fast food burgers.
