They seem to like round things...or string like things, or anything they can carry. Mine take my hair ties too. And they like milk jub rings, string, bells, hair clips, etc. You're right, it is funny when they do that, lol.

Get a stoneware rabbit food bowl, it truly is heavy and shallow, and may be harder to flow. and do not over fill it, yet wash & fill it two times an afternoon. Or glue it to the floor with a warm glue gun! basically kidding. If the heavy bowl doesn't artwork, then grant her water some cases an afternoon, and eliminate it even as she's carried out ingesting. After some days or some weeks, try leaving it out for her lower back, yet go lower back to eliminating it if she dumps it lower back. She would have separation stress, and it truly is her way of telling you she doesn't like being left on my own. Does she try this if you're homestead? If no longer, go away the water for her if you're at homestead, and eliminate it once you go away--do basically not ignore to grant it once you first get homestead.

That's so cute. My cats will play with anything fuzzy usually. I bought them a long furry tail-like cat toy for Christmas and they have been going crazy over it. Your cat may be attracted to the shape of the hairbands, she may think they look like worms or something she has played with in the past that was fun.

That must just be what she likes or catches her eye. I had a cat that LOVED the round thing on the milk cartons. If you put one in front of him, he would go nuts. I remember spending tons of money on cat toys that he wouldn't even look at. but get a milk carton ring, forget it. He was totally occupied!

All answers above are great! Cats play from instinct. The behavior mimics what cats do in the wild with prey. Also in the wild cats play to learn about survival. Domesticated cats only have to play for exercise & to combat bordome. My cat finds interest in just about anything he comes by but his favorite is "mitas" (mouse toys!) but only certain ones. His favorite is these little leather ones from the 99 cent store. I say "Papi" where da mita?" & he runs to bring me one if he wants to play. He fetches with me until he loses interest. When he wants to play alone, he finds his mita & tosses it so far in the air he does back flips to catch it! He will also just bring me one to let me know he wants to play. Aren't they the greatest?!

My cats love those too...i think it's because it's small enough for them to carry and toss around. Cats love really simple toys...

Funny what they find to play with. I have one that likes Q-tips. She watches while you use one and if you don't toss it to her to play with, she'll just dig it out of the trash herself. It is indeed funny.
