If you really want to go, I don't see why you shouldn't just because your ex is going to be there. If you do go, you need to be prepared for the consequences. You may see him there with another girl or trying to hook up with girls at the party be prepared for that so it doesn't come as a shock or skip the party all together if you don't think you can handle it. Also, it's a party so he may drink and you may drink and after a few drinks... well... things happen so make sure you're clear about what you want or don't want from this guy cause he just may try to hit on you. Anyways... if you know what you want and you're clear about your feeling you should go, and show him that you're strong and independent. Good Luck

If you are still hung up on him no. If you ended things peacefully and dont care that he is there then go, but if you feel that you want to kick him in the balls or something like that when you see him then NO. It just depends on how things went down when they ended so just think and if you go and things start to go bad either leave, ignore him, or party harder to make him jealous get a new man to taunt him with

Your ex should not define how you spend your life. He's a part of your past now; he doesn't matter anymore. Forget about him and just go enjoy yourself.
