Christians imply Jesus-destined to be the savior-could only be perfect and was incapable of sin. Yet Christians also insist he should be adored and praised for being the perfect savior, although he couldn't be anything else but what he was.

"He was the son of God" is NOT a response, by the way. As the son of God, what else could he be but perfect? That answer avoids the subject.

They also say Jesus should be glorified because he was sinless, even though they also believe he was not capable of sinning. According to Christian belief, Jesus did what he was destined to do, and had to do. Something here doesn't gel.

The feeling I get from Christians is that they believe Jesus deserves to be adored-yet how could Jesus have been anything else but Jesus?

Edgar Cayce believed Jesus had previous lives, beginning with Adam, and developed his Christhood through reincarnating, but Christians generally believe Jesus was just zapped here in total perfection. Really explain this enigma--anyone?

To 'Impossible..' b/c it's so simple, that leaves plenty of room for the unexplainable questions.
BTW, I always liked the reincarnation theory. Why do Christians dismiss that?

Ok, yes he was the son of God so being that, he was born perfect. But, he was also fully man when he came here to this world. He had the ability to sin (which is why Satan tempted him 3 times in the desert -4:1-11; Mark 1:12 & 13 and in Luke 4:1-13.), he had the ability to decide not to die for us. He even could've probably said "No thanks, I'd rather not be born on that crap place that you created Dad. I'll stay here in Heaven and be comfortable." He wasn't forced into anything. He CHOSE to remain pure and sinless because he loved us so much. It is very difficult to swallow and I didn't scientifically explain it out very well, but that's because I don't believe there is an explanation for that much love and self control. Jesus is the perfect example that Christians are supposed to reach for all their days on this earth. As for Jesus being reincarnated from Adam and so on...I don't believe that. It's not Biblical and I believe the Bible is God breathed and 100% true. Call me crazy... :-)

Mormons take a modified Cayce approach to jesus. They believe that in the past life (where supposedly ALL of us existed prior to this earth life) Jesus was elected to the future position of "Saviour" because he always listened to his daddy--and always would. Apparently this pre-earth jesus had been tested by his daddy god for untold aeons before this life, such that big daddy god knew jesus was brain-washed enough to do anything he was told. Mormons don't explain away the conundrum you posed either, since jesus was the only human placed in a position during this earth-life to succeed, while everyone else was placed in a position of failure--so much for a fair god.

Jesus is god and has been there from the beginning. In the beginning was the word and the word became flesh according to John's gospel. Although if we do not agree the bible is a true authority than we cannot debate this enigma.

Hmmm the fundies might say he's special because he jumped out of god's cockaroni. But, I think he was just a dude with some stuff to say that some people liked. One of the first celebs.

My love and adorition is not because He was born perfect, it is because He IS God and forgave me of my wrongs and leads and guides me among other things.
He appeared to Abraham hundreds of years before His birth in Bethleham.
He is the WORD of God, which is and always will be perfect and the Word has always been there. The Word of God was made flesh and is none other than Jesus Christ. He is not some creation as you suppose, He has always been and scriptures tell us all things were created by and for Him, the Word of God.

It might be too simple for you but the mere fact He was God in the flesh of a man who paid the price for our sins, is quite enough for me to adore Him.
