After my cats eat their wet food, they scratch the floor around the dishes. Almost like they think they are digging a hole to hide it. It's very funny. Just wondering if there's any explanation to that.

Hi there...this behaviour is similar to wild cats who bury their food to come back to eat later so that other predators will not steal their meal.

Yup, you guessed it.....they are trying to hide it.

I think it is rather funny as well.....but oh so cute, especially since my cates have been indoors for 10 years now!

thats what they are trying to do.....hide it. they are gonna save it for later, and also to keep the others from getting it. mine do that too.
