I am a woman, but here is an idea...you could get him an ipod and then load pictures of yourself in various poses, bikini, topless, as daring as you want to be before he unwraps it.
As everyone else suggested, something more than normal sex is fun. My boyfriend liked me dressing up and giving him coupons he could use that night or later on.

Personally I don't like anything for my birthday. It's just another day of the year but if you must, make it a surprise, that way he can be in the moment for you and him both.

A gift isn't about how much money you spend on it... it's about the person you're giving it to. So, what do they like? What are his hobbies? Favorite thing to do? Does he read books? Does he play vidoe games?
Figure out what he loves, and then buy him a gift that goes along with it... A gift should be thoughtful.

Something we can actually use immediately like a gift card. Girls tend to overthink what to get guys. Don't do sentimental. LIkely you will just screw it up and it will become a white elephant (ie flowers). Remember that Seinfeld when Jerry gets Elaine cash and she gets all offended. Well it wouldn't work the other way around.

You have to know his personality. If he likes tech stuff, get him a bluetooth or something computer or entertainment oriented. If he is athletic get him a football or basketball or cross trainers or warmup gear. If he likes camping or fishing, you could get him some gear. If he likes going out and dressing nice, get him a tie or shoes or a watch or wallet. If he is a musician get him guitar strings or drum sticks. If he loves to eat take him out to a nice restaurant and go to the movies. It really depends on his personality, he has to be into something.

i would like a surprise candle light dinner for two and then have him sit on the couch for a nice shoulder massage and have your girlfriend come out of the back room as you are behind him both of you get naked and give him the surprise of his life the best head in town.
