Whether they are married or not, men and women cheat. What causes them to do it if they are already in a relationship with somebody else?

They had a fight, they drink too much, or my all time favorite.....they are just plain STUPID!

Actually the majority of people who are married become unfaithful do to circumstances in their current life.What I mean is every relationship will go through a vuneralble points. For example, when you have a baby. The wife will devote alot of time to the baby, both of you hardly get sleep, so what energy could the wife devote to the husband when now the baby is #1. This can lead to the husband to fill the void that he feels they have in the relationship. Another example, the job, sometimes the job is just taking too much of your time even when you are at home. This may cause the other to cheat, when they are not recieving the full attention they use to get. Some people just do it because they feel the need to experience something out of their normal routine in their own relationship.

Many people look outside the relationship for something they are not getting out of the other person such as,
Emotional support
Sex
Time
Money
many of them that cheat are cowards because they don't come clean to the partner and don't want to lose them or the other giver.
In a relationship you have to be honest and open...
I often ask my husband if anything ever bothers him to let me know instead of him bottling it in and then looking for support in another woman's arms.
If you notice many men cheat because they say their wives don't do what the other does.....
yes it is selfish of them but the percentages are high in cheating men and that is one of the main causes....
so keep your man or woman happy both emotional and physical =)

apparently they must not be happy in their current relationship. Some people dont like to be alone, so they find someone else before they break it off. i know some who just do it to see if they can get away with it. And then their are those who ask... why does he/she allways cheat on me ? well because you put up with it, so why wouldnt they continue ? it depends solely on the person their values and morality.

really i dont know what cause men and women to cheat i think that if a person isnt totally in love with their partner they cheat. if the person isnt finished "playing first" than they will too. a person needs to be satisfied with being with their partner to stay with them for along period of time... i dont cheat it hurts the other person. and it also hurts the person who cheated. o dont know whre this is going so im ending it here peace...

The relationship simply doesn't mean that much to them.
Ususally, the 'cheater' wises up L o n g after the fact and has great remorse.

If you are going to marry, you MUST forget all your past relationship. Otherwise life will be like hell... .......one is cheating if s/he carry past relationship even after marriage.

people cheat when they find someone else who can fulfill something their significant other can't. Or if they can enjoy something with this other person that they can't with their man/woman.
