When I was 13 I met this girl. It was love at first sight, I could tell. She gave me alot of hints at the time and actually never gave up on me, but I never reacted because I was a coward. Still am.
One day I dreamt about her being killed by maffia. After that I never saw her again in real life till this day on. Also, the funny thing is, after I met her I've never seen a girl more beautiful than her. I just can't seem to find the right girl, because she was most likely the one. People tell me there's no such thing as 'the one'. But I know deep down inside of me that she definitely is. I feel it strongly. So how can I forget about her and try to like/love some other girl instead of her? Am I not fooling myself then? She had everything that made her attractive to me and with other girls I'm always missing something. Don't you think I'm fooling myself when I say to myself 'oh, wait. it's not that bad. she looks quite good after all.' I'm not saying others are ugly, she just had it all.

I think there is truth in an old saying that sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder . At 13 you may not have noticed any faults because you were young and found her so appealing which is quite natural . Now that your a little older it may be a little too idealistic and you have her on a pedestal that perhaps no other could reach.
It's time to let go of these thoughts and move on now or you'll forever be tormenting yourself and deny yourself the happiness another great girl could provide you . There are others like her rest assured of that . Good luck to you !

Find her and ask her out, that's the only way to find out for sure. Sometimes, the reality isn't what the fantasy thought it would be, but there again, sometimes it's better. I been in love with the same guy since I was 13. We went our seperate ways when I was 16. I've since had 2 children, and seperated from their dad. 4 months ago, this fella got in touch. (I'm 25 now). We started dating again, and I still love him as much now as I did then, I feel he is the one. Fate. Good luck.

I have been in a very similiar situation before. and it sucks, because you can't think of anyone else but that person. I actually got a chance with this guy, but I just threw it away like if it was nothing and I cried for the longest time. I did think of him as my one true love and I am like you, I don't believe in that stuff, but I believed he was. I would tell myself that he was the one that got away, but he's really the one that I threw away, I think that you should just try to find her and if it is impossible than if you guys were really meant to be, you guys will meet agian. Just follow your heart and what you believe in or you'll just make yourself hurt more if you listen to others.

Yeah for some people there is such thing as the ONE. I believe you. Maybe you had the dream because she was trying to let you know that she got killed by the mafia. If she isnt dead then if fate allows you two will meet again when the time is right.

Move on. I know it isn't always easy but try and live for the moment and do not dwell on the past. It is possible to love many different people in your life. Once you have decided to release her and get on with your life you will meet someone new.

Yep, it's time for you to move on. It was "puppy love at the age of 13. There are more women out there and you have the problem of getting over being a coward. Jump in and get your feet wet and don't let them get away.

if you have to ask then you know the answer, you just want some confirmation......oh and you were not a coward, you just acted like one - there is a difference cuz you are not your problems, separate yourself from the behavior....it will help you get through this hormone- got=you-writing-on-and-on-about-some-13-year-old-girl time of your life.

First off, you gave this girl have high standards. And now you think others you date are not up to your standards.( they dont meet the 1st love)
You need to either contact this 1st love of yours and go from there. Good luck!

You are obviously pathetic and no other girl has ever been nice to you. Just find some hott chick, pork her, and then I promise everything will be okay.
