my six month old staffy has started to mark his territory indoors,i know neutering is an option but he has a heart condition so cant have an anaestetic,what can i do?

Dog with heart conditions can have surgery safely. Go to another vet. A neuter does not take very long and todays anesthetics are very safe. Him peeing all over you house and running the risk of accidentally breeding with a heart condition is owrse.
See another vet and get it neutered. Then get to some good training classes!!!!!

He's marking territory indoors because he's not fixed, so he has the urge to mark his territory and let other males know that he's around. I understand that it's difficult to break that habit once its starts, so it's probably best to get him neutered as soon as possible.

If you've had onther dog in there before thats the reason female or male he's marking his territory!

SCOLDING HIM AND SWATTING HIM WITH A NEWSPAPER MAY HELP-THERE IS A SPRAY YOU CAN GET AND SPRAY THE AREAS HE HAS ALREADY MARKED TO HELP DEFER HIM DOING IT AGAIN.

well there are products you can buy but I dont know if they work I have a female so I dont have that problem.
