There are a few that I alternate between. They all work really well.

The two that I can think of off hand are:

1. John Frieda Frizz-ease Hair Serum. Just rub a small amount between plams. About the size of a nickel, give or take. And smooth through soaking-wet hair.

2. Samy Silk anti-frizz Smoothing Serum. Apply to wet OR dry hair.

Then I blow dry until bone dry. Moisture is bad when straightening. And iron away.

Follow with a little more smoothing serum, if you feel like you need it.

something for anti-breakage since heat will make it break.
Try Herbal Essence in the blue bottle. It's called Bad Break or something like that, but it's a leave-in conditioner type. It works awesome!!!!

I was always apprehensive about using too much heat on my hair... my stylist recommended Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum... its amaaaazing. I put it on before i blowdry, straighten or curl. And you can put it on both wet and dry hair. My hair has never looked better or felt healthier

use a straightening product like a spray, lotion or creme. it not only protects your hair, it prolongs the straightness and keeps it smooth. since it is direct heat on the hair, you must protect it to keep it healthy.

use a protector. they are usally in a little spray-able bottle. it is used to protect hair from heat damage. spray it before you treat your hair with straightening irons or curling irons. good luck. loreal and garnier have good protectors. good luck. x
