You will probably need to combine alot of things in order to get your feet to improve.

1. Wash them throughly. Soaking them in a basin with foot soaking soap is also suggested. Everyday if need be. But also dry them throughly as well.

2. It would be good to by some Dr. Scholl's, Tinactin or Gold Bond's foot spray. But make sure that the spray says "Powder" there is more than one kind. Spray your feet well with this - between the toes also. Spray after every wash (or follow how often the directions say) Try different kinds to see if one works better for you than the other.

3. Wearing more than one pair of socks is good also. Especially the thicker socks. Even if you have to wear dress socks put a pair of the thicker socks underneath. The thick socks come in black also.

4. Now that your feet are smelling better -the most expensive part of all of this is that you CANNOT put them back into the shoes/sneakers that you have. They have the smell in them and will cause everything in 1, 2 and 3 to be ineffective and a waste of time. So you will have to get some new shoes.

5. Once you get the new shoes get a good pair of odor eaters and put in each pair as well. Keep these handy and change them often.

This all should work for you. If not then see your doctor, there could be a more serious underlying problem.

Hope this helps and best of luck

Try this. Wear only 100% cotton socks, non man made materials,(canvas or leather) change your socks 2 or 3 times a day. Soak your feet in soapy watter to loosen up the dead skin, its the dead skin on them that is causing the oder. Use a pumice stone to gently buff off the dead skin. Afterward, dry them, and don't wear shoes at home. Let your feet breathe. Put a sprinkle of baking soda in you shoes before you put them on. When you take your shoes off, put more baking soda in them to help absorb the oder. Before you put them back on, shake out the old baking soda, and replace it with fresh baking soda. This may take a few weeks to work fully, but trust me, it worked for me!

Try to wash them every time you put your shoes on and every time you take them off. Put new clean shocks and use a specific powder or spray, which stop the smell and decrease the sweating.

Is your foot discolored? I had something like that happen to me several years ago and my foot was somewhat discolored. I took one of those pumas stones in the shower and rubbed off the dead skin. Underneath there was a fresh new layer of skin and the smell went away.

My brother had the same problem. His feet did not smell because he didn't keep them clean them or because he didn't wear socks. I don't know what the source of the problem was... but I had him buy a new pair of shoes & bought him a pair of "Dr. Scholl's Odor Destroyers Insoles"
(you can buy them online @ www.drugstore.com) for about $4.00. He never has had the odor problem again.

You can buy a box of baking soda.......Put 1 tsp in each shoe overnight to absorb odor.
Empty in trash in morning......take 2 pinches of new soda and place in shoes again b/4 wearing again......
You need to not wear the same shoes over and over.
You can find another pair for maybe $2.50 at the thrift store.
take turns wearing different shoes......put baking soda in shoes each night for odor control, or a piece of charcoal ..you can buy I think at a hardware store....Walmart might have it also...Just to put in shoes each night. Good luck (both these things worked for my brother) He had it bad.......

I used to work for a dermatologist and he suggests using Certain Dry anti-perspirant. Sounds like you have hyperhidrosis(excessive sweating).

Seriously, if you haven't seen a foot doctor (podiatrist) go now.
