The ones in San Francisco are extremely expensive. They price their clothes at only a few dollars less than you would pay for the article brand new.

If you really want good clothes at a decent price from a Thrift Store, try going to Thrift Town on the SF border. It's a couple of blocks down from the Cow Palace, across the street from KFC/Taco Bell. They have daily sales as well as seasonal ones. When you enter find out what the color tag is for the day. Every item with that color tag is 50% off.
