I don't think that your income is enough to warrant itemizing that. If you are in college and do your own taxes you can apply for Hope Education or Continuing Education credit. You can't apply for the same one in consecutive years.

You or your parents can probably claim a credit for a portion of your tuition, but not room and board, and probably not books (there are specific rules, and books don't usually count). Look for info on irs.gov on the Hope Credit or Lifetime Learning Credit.
