i have a bit of a think for one of my Dads friends, and i think he feels the same way.
Im 18, and the friend of my Dad is around 30 (younger than my farther) i wondered if anyone has any advice about what i should do in this situation?
i know my Dad wouldnt approve

If your dad wouldn't approve and you're living at home, you should stay away...unless you can pull something off totally on the DL. That even might be fun.
The age factor thing shouldn't make a difference.

Go for him; Dads never approve of their darling daughter going to a guy because when their daughter has a bf, it is a sign that dad is really getting old so you're not being with a man is his way of staying young. Eventually he will have to resolve this dilemma. He'll be ok though as long as you communicate with him.

If your Dad doesn't approve then why would you want to start a whole lot of chaos between him and his friend? Tell your father that you like his friend and just see what happens. Fireworks I'm willing to bet! This is a big no no!

Girl.. it's just a crush. Let it go. You are way too young and well if he tried anything with you, he would be disrespecting your father. To avoid any "drama" within your family, try to forget about him. You're young, you still have lots to look upon your future.

You need to be aware of your dad's friendship. He will lose that friendship and you will probably lose any relationship you have with your father and it would never work out between you and the other guy. It's not worth it.
