Is it true that Edmonton has open boundaries for schools? If so, how does the transportation work for the kids, if transportation is provided at all.
Also, I have read conflicting information on the good neighbourhoods in Edmonton. I heard South was good, and then heard North was good and South was bad. Which is the truth?

While it's true, Millwoods seems to have a lot of crime, that's only because Millwoods is huge. Per capita, the crime rate there isn't that much higher.

If you want to move to a REAL nice area, move to Sherwood Park. That's where the rich people who work in Edmonton go to live.

I live in the North side. No issues here. Although it's a very family oriented area. The worst we had was noise after the Oiler's won all their games in the playoffs. I don't like the South side just for the reason its far from everything, except South Common, and people get shot there (Millwoods) all the time. I recommend North.
