Addicted? If that is the case, then you are probably meeting the daily requirement for protein in your diet. The whites of the egg have excellent protein value and are very low in fat and cost.

Of course, the yolks contain the cholesterol that doctors want us to avoid. If you can mix it up a bit, try omelets, hard boiled over a green salad, egg salad sandwich or my favorite, fried egg on dark rye or pumpernickel. This gives you protein, fiber and good carbs.

You might get tired of having eggs everyday, so make a conscious effort to try something else in place of eggs for dinner. The egg is good for our well being, but I wouldn't want you to get tired of them quickly and then avoid them. Pace yourself...

If you are serious and you are addicted and you indulge you will get high cholesterol which leads to clogged arteries heart failure and death. Have you tried egg beaters? They have the same taste and consistency of eggs without the cholesterol and health risk.
