Um, bigger questions here.
Have you always been a size 9? Then fiance knows this and is marrying a person who fits in a size 9, don't worry about it.
Or, Have you usually been a size 6 and just recently went to a 9? Then look into juice or water fasting or cleansing programs, like the master cleanse - this is a quick way to lose a lot. Plus you will have terrific skin.
Perhaps your fiance is pressuring you to be a size 6? If this is the case, a big red flag should be going up! You both would be miserable. You would feel shame because you want to be a size 6 and are not, he would be miserable because he expects to be married to a size 6 woman. And the problems get bigger from there. I really hope this is not the case.
Why did you buy a size 6 when you are a 9? If you do get to a 6 do you plan on staying there? Maintaining can be hard.
Well, nothing wrong with wanting to look your best on your wedding day. If you have some time, do something sensible like Weight Watchers, it really works. If you have little time, like I said, the Master Cleanse (Lemonade Diet).
Good luck and may you have a happy marriage!

Consider this- buying a size 6 dress is really for a size four person. I'm a 6 and had to buy an 8 because of the corset thing I wore under it. It added enough to my frame that a size 6 wouldn't fit. But I couldn't very well go without it. Just buy a dress that fits and try not to drastically change your weight between now and then.

Always buy a dress that fits. Even if you lose 50 pounds who's to say the dress will fit. I had a friend who did this and her dress didn't fit because she lost all the weight but her rib cage didn't reduce. You should NEVER buy a dress smaller then a size down for a wedding. You can't change your bone structure.

Why do you need to be a size 6? Some rule or just your goal? The only way is to eat less but to make sure you get the proper nutrition.

When is the wedding I hope you have atleast 6 months. I went on Weight Watchers and lost 35 lbs and it really worked. You just follow the plan or make it a game. Give it a try.

Either order a bigger wedding dress *giggles*, or you could start exercising and eating more fruits and vegetables. Eat fruits and vegetables every meal for a few weeks and exercise, and you would probably see noticeable improvement. I am not sure, but that may get you all the way!

I lost 30 lbs on Jenny Craig. If you have 3-6 months then that is what I would do.

Drink plenty of water, walk everyday, stay away from pasta and breads and most red meats...if you can. Then you need to eat alot of vegetables and fruits and remember to power walk when you do. It is tough. Go to the gym and lift but not to bulk up, only to tone down.
