Best place in the world to settle??

Question

Where would be the best place to live with your wife for lifestyle, weather, cost etc the whole package and still be able to work?

I can't decide where to live, we have lived in alot of countries....

Any help is much appreciated

There are alot of things to be taken in.
Could you narrow it down some?
Pick one area or a type of climate, or government beliefs....etc.

Maybe somewhere in the Medditerranean countries.

The weather's good/ not too hot or cold.
