Depends.
If a women is single I think she should work like any other individual.
Once you get married I think it is still alright.
But once you bring a child into the world. I think the person making the most of the income should continue to work while the other person brings up the kid(s). If the other person can find a job that works around the children then that would be neat.
I do not think it matters the sex. But it does matter who comes out on top with the money. Generally speaking it is the man coming out on top when it comes to making money. But I do not believe since you are a women, Jew, Muslim, man, black, Asian, white, short, and or anything else should ever be put under a category just to make things simple for those who won't take the time to open up their minds.
In so many words. I do not believe just because you are a women you have to be subjected to doing something your heart does not desire.

Made to?? I don't think you can 'make' anyone, especially women, do anything. You can suggest or inform some one of an idea but you can't make them accept it. Women have as much right in the work force as do men and can do the jobs that men have traditionally done. If men should not be 'made' to stay at home why women? We have out grown, or should have by now, those sexist attitudes.

You really are on a mission tonight - I wish someone would make me stay at home, do housework and play with kittens. The rest of the time I could sit on my **** and do nothing.

Absolutely not! You should be able to work if you want to. Especially if you have a career goal in mind. You have to go out there and make a name for yourself, be independant. You can balance a home life and your work life at the same time. Never settle. If anyone ever tells you otherwise, they are not worth keeping around.

Women often bring in just as much or more money than their husbands. Why would you want to give up the extra $$ in the home by not allowing your wife to work?

Yeah...housework is like house"play"...right...cuz otherwise it would be called work...like house work....hmmmm....Women should do whatever they want to do. Work, stay home, raise kids, stay single, adopt, go to school....Each situation is special and different. Only "She" knows what's best for Her.

every one should have the right to do what they want to and not have to do something if they dont want to.if children are involved then thats a different matter coz mums are better at staying at home and taking care of the kids. i do and its the best thing in the world.

Absolutely not. Women as the rest of human beings in this world should be raised to be able to make their own personal choices, which ever they may be. No person should be forced to play any particular role, if this is not upon his/her personal choice.
