Why do we swear on the bible, when Jesus clearly said not to swear on anything?
Why do we bury our dead?
Why do we celebrate Jesus' birth in the winter, when he was clearly born in the spring?
Why? why? Why?

What makes you think the holy day is Saturday. I never read anything in the Bible that said "Remember Saturday and keep it Holy". I know what you'll say . . it doesn't say Sunday either. I'm not saying it did, but if you can't say it says one or the other, what does it matter?
I happen to go to church on Saturday and spend Sunday with my wife . . it's date night for us.

The Christian church is a different entity than the Jewish nation. God gave the sabbath to the nation of Israel not the church. Even Sabbaths in Judaism were not always on Saturday.
The church is entirely a new thing, Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, The church began on the first day of the week, so the seventh day for the church is Sunday. The Church met on the first day of the week, offerings were taken on the first day of the week. See if you can find church teaching that recommends the seventh day.

Because the Romans determined that Sunday was the last day of the week so the people who wrote the bible just took it as the day of rest.

The early Christians chose to meet on Sunday, the first day of the week, comemorating the day of the week Jesus rose from the dead.
Acts 20:7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.
1 Cor 16:1Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made. 3Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.
Sunday isnt the Sabbath, just the day Christians have traditionally gathered on.

"Where does the word "Saturday" appear in the Bible?"
Sabbath, genius.
They don't want to share a day with the Jews. They want to be different. Some strict sects go on Saturday still.

Jesus commanded his followers to observe the sacrament on his day or "the day of the Lord". He rose from the dead the day after Sabbaoth, which would be Sunday on our current calendar. At that time, he conquered death, hell and the grave, and became Lord in every sense of the word. The day on which Jesus became Lord is now Sunday, the day we gather to worship.
